My Monster RX catch can arrived at the house in the last day or two. I sent Corey an e-mail to determine if he wants it at the shop now or when I get home in a little over two weeks...

Waiting on that reply...

We were testing out you Adam's product on your car all is good at shop, convertable Matt did a dyno tune 422rwhp/422torque...watch out he's catching you glen dyno tuned the Goat think it was 377? Helped Carbon Fiber Joe out with his car a bit.

Real excited about your tranny. Did not realize it would be the first EVER installed in a street car. Very cool....Breaking new ground!

It's the first installed in a 5th Gen Camaro Street car...There are several people following along or pmíng me about it... I'll be writing a review of it after I get her back and on the road/track... I really curious about the internal shifter not affected by the torque and flex in the car...

Well it's going as ok as it can...
We are tolerating the Company antics that we are drilling for... and most of us are seriously fed up with them. We have two crane operators, two OIM's, one tool pusher, a driller, an Asst. Driller, and several others about ready to leave...

Yeah, the new truck...

Debbie and I went shopping for a beater truck to run back and forth to the shop and to crew change... something with moderate, (50-70K) miles, and we come home with a 2012 Dodge Ram... with less than 50 miles... It's nice but since it will be my car Hauler as well, I'm looking to replace the stereo, the 500 Watt Alpine system with a double din Nav Stereo...

I also found out the day I get off the rig, I have to drive straight to Lafayette for a subsea meeting.... Tuesday through Friday... so I wont be home until the 30th of March... and I didn't bring any clothes with me other than what I wear for crew change... so I have to stop and buy clothes and what not... and my crew change day is my birthday... Dangít...

That would be great! That site has the registration and hotel info on it. If you register put ACE5 as your car club. That way you'll be parked with us.

Wish things were better for you out on the rig. Once a few get disgruntled (rightly so even) it seems to infect others quickly.

I'll visit the idea with the wife... She may want to have some visit time with her brother... or I may make a solo trip if I can work it out...

Now, I need to find a trailer... I have access to a couple of them, but I want a specific one.... and it's 7K... bit pricey...

As for the disgruntlement, we don't feed too much off each other... if you whine in front of any others, then you get ridden like a stick horse... So, we usually just have a cuss fest for a few seconds and go on about work... The only up side is they dont understand the workings of a rig well enough to determine if we are actually doing what htey request or not.... We can lead them around by the nose and fill them with ideas and prohibitions to why something has to be done a certain way but the end result wiull be the same.... lol... the part that drives me crazy is they want a written procedure for everything we do.... everytime....

The reason for this is in about four months, they are supposed to take over the rig and only essential personnel will remain... OIM, SubSea, Barge Captain and a few others... The rest of the rig will be run by Nationals... uhhhhh, I won't be here even though I'm subsea... We are already heavily segregated and I don't treat anyone as badly as they treat us.... I was raised better than that...

and we have too much fun messing with each other to let things bother us too much...

There were three Aggies huddled around each other at a local bar. All of a sudden, they jumped up and yelled,
"Yeah, 45! 45!" The bartender goes down to them and asks, "45? What are you guys so excited about?"
One of the Aggies speaks up: "We just finished a jigsaw puzzle. The box said 2 to 3 years, and we did it in 45 days!"

Ok,

It's official,

I finally got a vendor to reply to me about some wheels purely for racing...

Matt at East Coast Supercharging has done me right on a set of Weld RT-S 17 in. wheels with a black face and polished barrel.

17 x 10 for the rear, and 17 X 5 for the fronts... with polished Gorilla Lug nuts...

I am ordering a set of adjustable lower control arms, probably BMR, and 28 x 10 x 17 Inch Hoosier Slicks, and M&H Skinnies for the front.

These tires will not see the street as they are race only tires...

Very nice. Weld makes some great racing wheels...
Didn't someone on here say that BMR was coming out with lower control arms that will fit a 15" rim?
