Yup. That's what the painter told us. Having polished in the past I know exactly what would happen. And this plastic stuff on cars these days tends to have raised edges too.

LMAO, Ya, I actually told him it was unnecessary but he insisted. Then at the gas station I realized it might have been his little joke against me. It was bad enough I had no front fascia but the redneck hood latch was just too much.

I had to get the crushed rocker panel fixed and had a helluva deal to get it done.

It was going to cost me the same amount to get my rocker panel fixed here as it did to get my front fascia, stripes AND rocker panel done. No brainer.

I wish I would have known you needed one. Just so happens I have a couple "spares" here at the house.

NORM ROCKS!

But never fear, that is why it was such a good deal. He also had some spares laying around, so he got Randy a sweet deal. Basically Randy just paid for paint and labor. Since it was a side job it was a pretty cool deal.

Nah, these were the ones off my car before I put the ZL1 rockers on. When I go into the attic over the garage I'm greeted by a fascia, rocker panels, struts, springs, hood (that was a bear to get up the attic stairs), Pedders boxes, GM boxes, AAC boxes..............

That's the best kind of deal! Sweet.

Actually yes. but it got close. To paint my front fascia, get me a new rocker and paint it and paint my stripes a client of mine said 1500.00 total. He was just estimating but it was for labor, paint and the cost of the rocker. And I believe he was cutting me a bit of a deal.
