I've heard it mentioned before, but I have no intentions of compiling a thread like this. I only recall seeing a few exhaust videos showing off the sound on a stock car with an intake.

I'd think Rotofab/CAI/BBK should all sound mostly the same. I would think AirRaid would be close to those too, but I think it is also a bit more restricted than they are.

Injen might be slightly different.

Also, my Vararam definitely changed the exhaust note from when I had the AirRaid....for the better.

Best exhaust system for my 2012 LS?/ Looking for something that will growl!!

I know I know.. I should have gotten the V8! I know I cant imitate the sound of a V8 with a new exhaust but I want to get as close as possible.. Anyway, if anyone could help me find a tough growling sound exhaust for the LS V6 I would sure apreciate it! Thanks and I'm new here but glad to be a new camaro owner!

Welcome...I'll help you however I can.

What exhaust are you referring to? Are you talking about the MRT2s??

If you haven't yet, make sure you go through all of the exhausts videos I've compiled on the first page of this thread, and try to listen to them with good speakers that can reproduce bass. There are a bunch, so take your time.

LOL, how much you looking to spend? Are you just wanting mufflers, or headers and mufflers, or headers and mufflers and high flow cats? Do you want it to look nice from underneath or can it be frankenstein'd?

I'm new to this forum. I just bought my 2011 RS about two weeks ago, and am not all that fond of the stock exhaust. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas between the Dynomax and Magnaflow's? Listened to them both, but most of the ones for Dynomax I found are not the best videos. I'm looking at the axle-back kits, since I'm on small budget. Thanks for any help.

Posted this in a couple other places but figured I'd toss it in here and add to the list. This video is the first time I've had video taken so I could hear what everyone else hears.

This was my last run of the night at SGMP in Valdosta, GA last Friday. I blip the throttle on my way up to staging and then it's pedal to the metal. Enjoy!

Ark N-2 catback w/ CAI intake and ADM scoop.

That has an authoritative bark. Way to crack triple digits on your trap. Not a bad run at all. Prolly could have been in the 13's without the wheel spin-I know it happens...lol. How was your RT?

Thank - you Keith. I was looking for that to make the front page, knowing this combo was not there yet.

Thank - you, I have been in the triple digits a few times. Now if I can get the wheel spin under control. I went to drag radials to help with that, but track prep is almost non-existent where I go. But I can make as many passes as I want in the 4 hours they are open to. I made 16 passes that day. As for reaction time. I don't have it with me at the moment on what my time was. Usually under 0.200. But on test and tune day this does nothing for the ET. Only heads up does a GREAT RT mean anything.

Looking for an exhaust sample with MRT V2 and the Magnaflow Resonated X-Pipe. Trying to decide whether to install my Res-X or sell it.

Don't think I've seen an example of that. A former V6 owner here had DT shorty headers + what your asking about and said he liked it,but I'm sure the headers helped give it a bit more snarl.

Why are thinking about installing it? Drone issues?
