trailering ?

Hey guys quick question. My dealer is about 70 miles away, is there a certain type of trailer I can use to bring her home? I would like to save the miles I like low miles. I thought I was reading something about some yellow shipping blocks we are suppose to use when moving the car.

install the yellow spacers in the front and you should have ground clearance for any standard type trailer

70 miles... WoW... just consider them break in miles... you could do more damage loading and unloading off a trailer than it's worth.

See if the dealer that has a rollback to make some extra cash....maybe they would help you, maybe rent a Uhaul small truck and an open trailer ?? ...call a towing service(with a rollback) and see what they charge sometimes like a dollar per mile ???

The car comes with spacers to put in the front suspension to give you extra ground clearance for loading it onto a rollback or trailer. If I recall correctly when the dealership takes them out they are supposed to put them in the glovebox. As far as installation, I would assume you'll have to jack the front end up a little bit to get the weight off the suspension, just put them in place, and let it back down. Or as far as that goes in your case just tell the dealer to leave them in place since you plan to throw it up on the trailer, then just pull them out when you get her home.

Depending on the road condition at delivery time a lot of people may trailer. Some roads are still covered in sand and salt, rocks etc.

That would be a nice time to get some break in miles out of the way.

Me too! I'm putting 600 miles on mine on day one. I'm buying this to drive it. And taking it to a track event in May. www.fbody-event.org
And I'm going to drive it to get there also.

Only have 300 or so....but still...highly anticipating that trip!

Trailering should be relatively easy if using the supplied spacers as others have mentioned.
