The parking for show and shine last year was with the competitors, just you didn't have an entry slip on your dash... at least that's how I understood it when I got there.

I just purchased some new cosmetic mods today that I hope to be installed by then!!!



The new stuff I got coming are:


-2 sets of all red CAMARO letters to replace the chrome stock letters;


-3 SS badges; (red with black satin surrounds), one set to replace the bowtie on the trunklid, the other two for each fender under the CAMARO letters;

-and the V2 Mailslot Scanner with remote from AAC!

I might be able to swing this. I'm not 100% just yet, but interested. I would be entering if going. I should know for sure in a week or so.

Meeting up prior and cruising in sounds like a good plan.

Saturday is the only day I'm going. There's a Camaro Rally this year, but it's not specified what it is on the site so I asked. Also, I'm probably going to only do the show and shine as I don't want to track my car really. (Especially not against someone else.)

I'll be there with some of our HRCC Members and I just signed up on your link. Last I made a Calendar link as well but not till the 1st of May did i post it. We had 6 of us last year come up for Saturday and drove in for $35 . So what is the Discount price ? I'll have a better count on who is going this year after tonight's Club meeting .

I am not sure what the discount is exactly; it seems an inquiry via email is required to get the specifics, I just know I read somewhere where it stated that 'car clubs of 10 or more' could get a discount. When I get a chance I will send them a request and see.

Yea that's what I was told last year but we only had 6 attending so No discount. I'll call again myself to see what is needed and we can go from there.

I would love to go but it is the same weekend as Bodatious Off Road race in Catersville, VA. That's a shame it always seems to be on the same weekend. And I would rather go Sand Drag racing in the rail car. Everyone have fun!

Well just got off the phone with VMP.. The lady that answered the phone couldn't find the Club Discount but said she'd find out and call me back . I'll keep you posted on that.. All that is for sure is that the prices are as followed .

Show n Shine = $35
Camaro Rally = $40
Judged Classes = $45

edit :Got a phone call but still no info on Group rate . Looks like it needed to be requested by May 4th with 10 or more cars .

I did read up on the Camaro Rally Class $40 - It's judged but just for the Camaro's that Show up Saturday . here is some info off the Super Chevy site:

The Camaro Rally is the name for this year’s featured car at the VMP event. They will have special parking for all registered Camaros in the show, along with extra classes just for Camaros to be judged. These classes have not been set yet. They will be providing lunch to all Camaro car show entries on Saturday. All judging and awards for Camaros will be on the same schedule as published.

Virginia Motorsports Park is hoping to have a Camaro for every model year represented, so we’d love to see it there!
