Trust me, they got the message loud and clear this past weekend. Not sure that it will matter though as Team Camaro doesn't get the final word about engine availability. They will have to try and convince the powers that be to keep the LS7 around for a bit longer.

Can't wait. Wish there was a section for it.

Wixom, where the LS7 is hand-assembled, is 'way under-utilized as C6 Vette sales languish in anticipation of the coming C7. It currently runs @ about 1/2 "capacity".

DEPENDING ON PLANNED VOLUMES, an LS7 intended for ZEE-only usage might keep Wixom running at current output all by itself...

Al, and all, are welcome to "read all about it" here, starting 'bout page 34 or so...

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...149090&page=34

Business Case, including Wixom, for a name-worthy ZEE is "present"...eventually...and has been debated thoroughly...

Cliff's Notes version (with a nod to "current realities"):

1SS + 1LE + LS7 + ZL1 Brakes + Lt. RamAir-Extractor Hood (+ 1LS Seats?) = BOSS LS Basher @ BOSS LS price and @ 1LE Curb Weight

2SS Optional; Sport Seats Optional, MRC Optional...
