The GFX kit will take up to 4 1/2" round tips. The inside of the ports are beveled to allow for normal tips.

I haven't seen an axle back kit that didn't fit. I know JBA's fits just fine.

I've been running round tips since '09 and don't have an issue with it.

You have to look really hard to see the tips.

I had square tips at first. They would rattle every once in a while since they was was really close to square bezel. I ended up pulling them off and welding a screen into the bezel and powdercoating it all black. Came out pretty clean.

A couple of rear shots of mine here

That looks good. Did you paint your bezzels/exhaust ports? If so, with what kind of paint?

V8. I got the expanded metal mesh from ace hardware. They sell it in a big sheet. Pretty heavy duty stuff. I cut it out to fit in the bezel and welded it in. Heres a better shot

No tips is definitely the way to go.

We have made quite a few customer supplied tipped systems work with the fascia, but most of the time it results in rattles and issues with the bessel piece trying to come off the car and/or get distorted.

There are quite a few companies that offer there cat-back/axle-back systems with no tips to accommodate the fascia.

If your considering a full exhaust with long tubes, I would recommend an entire kooks system.

Thanks
Mike Haddad

Im running BBKs LT with JBAs axle-back. If you want to keep it somewhat civilized, don't change your mufflers, if you want to wake the dead, try JBAs kit.

I got the magnaflow tips for the gm body kit. They sit back so you can't really see them and they do look good but if I was to go back I would have gone with the mesh look.

Here is what I got...

I did not like the tips sitting so far back under the car, so I moved them out a little.
