Ran a 13.32, wierd sound afterwards?
I'm sketching out because I just ran the quarter for the first time and ran a 13.32. However, seconds after the run while driving relatively slowly, I heard a creaking sound. Like a loose nut or bolt maybe. Can anyone help me out with this? Idk what sounds to expect after a run. I was thinking that maybe the hot tires were making a whistling sound or something? Idk. Help me guys.

Where does the sound appear to be coming from? Under the hood, rear end,underneath you?

Is it load? Is it coming from inside the car or outside. Could it be in the trunk? I don't know what the SS has to hold the inflater in, but the cars with spares has some styrofoam to hold the the jack and some other things in place below the tire. After I had been running my car pretty hard one time I kept hearing a squeaking behind me. I finally figure out it was in the trunk (but sounded like it was under the car). Turned out it was that styrofoam -- it had shifted and was rubbing. It might be something simple like that.

Well I don't hear it anymore but it sounded like it came from the back. Hope it wasn't anything big. Car seems fine though.

Once in a while my Corsa exhaust will make a metal-on-metal creak sound when going over a bump. Maybe it was something like that?
