Is this a good deal?

At the local Chevy dealership, they have a 2010 Camaro SS/RS SLP ZL550 for sale. It has 17,500 miles, black on black with white stripes, automatic, for $39,000.

With the SLP package costing $22,995 on top of the 2SS, is this price really low, or do they not hold their value?

I'm curious because this car seems like a great deal, and I'm considering trading up.

You hit it, they don't hold value, esp with the ZL1 now here.
Good luck!

I'd have a lot of issue buying a car like that used. Who knows how hard it's been run. I'd even have a hard time buying a used SS with mods...stock...I'd think of. Yes...any car can be abused. Thing is...mods are a sure sign that person liked to drive...spirited. A supercharger...a sure sign that car has been driven hard. Just my opinion.

Don't think that whoever spent that much money is going to abuse it. Use it maybe, but not abuse. They don't hold there value, and the dealers will have a hard time financing them. Is it really certified? If so, you get warranty with it. Nice.

I would wait and pick up a pre-owned ZL1 in a couple of years instead.
