Track Day at AutoClub Speedway Fontana

There's an autocross and a full course track day at AutoClub Speedway in Fontana on May 5 and 6.

I'm signing up for the full course day on Saturday the 5th. It would be great to have some Camaros out there!

Doc, So Cal race team, Mayhem and others go to these.. Thats the next date they are putting it on. See you there

Alot of us will be there Autocrossing...but I have to try the roval one day!!

So it looks like everyone's doing autocross...except me lol. Oh well; I'll be out on the Roval "representing". There's one other 2010 Camaro that's signed up but I don't know if he/she's a C5 member.

Oh yeah! No kidding...hard to believe it's been a year already!! Do the autocross guys have to be at the driver's meeting in the morning? I'll be there.

No but you can't miss us, when you come in the in field and get your first wrist band the autocross is right there. We usually park on the far end. I think you have to be there earlier then us though. I'm sure we will see each other!

Hey doc how was the full track? I just signed up for august 12th in the blue group. Now Im shopping for tow hooks. Did you get one?

The full track is a blast; enjoyed every minute of it. Yes I got a tow hook:

Awesome, thanks doc. Did you change your brake fluid at all? I'm considering going to a DOT4 and separating the clutch and brakes reservoirs.

I'm having my reservoir installed tomorrow along with a couple of other goodies. I am playing guinea pig for a new brace and drive shaft safety loop.

I went with Amsoil in the tranny, rear end and motor and will be upgrading the break fluid tomorrow as well.

LSX TV is sponsoring the install and CMS will be doing the work. I am paying for the res install and break fluid flush.

Absolutely change your brake fluid!! The stock fluid will boil and you'll lose your brakes. I use Super Blue but you can use any DOT 4 racing grade brake fluid.

I'm also considering a separate clutch and brake reservoir; just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
