Opening day is coming up and the weather is perfect lately for making HP! Who's in? They open at 11am to 5 for test and tune and I will be down there if the weather is clear along with a buddies 99 SS and possibly a corvette convertible that I think added a procharger since I beat him last year. The 99 has had some work done since last year and he is hoping to break into the low 11's if not high 10s (we'll see lol).

I'm trying to get Camarophotos down there as well as any other EMCC member. Detroit 5th gen I know has many members that go down the 1320...show up and lets get a good showing of camaros.

Last year I was there at opening day and the track was wide open...go as many times as you want with little or no wait.

I may be in with my buddy in his modded ctsv and my brother in his Whipple charged mustang. I will also be heading to Lapeer drag this Saturday.

Weather is looking iffy, but if it's only going to be cloudy I will still be there. Sunday they are calling for rain...but all of this can certainly change, we do live in Michigan. Hope to see all of you out there, looking forward to it!

Well I was staying hopeful, but now they are calling for 80% chance of rain with it starting in the morning and turning into thunderstorms by the afternoon. Sunday isn't looking any better, so I will shoot for Wednesday night test and tune if it's really that bad over the weekend. I'm leaving all my options open though so I will be there when they open the gates if I think I can get a few runs in before the rain comes.

Well things didn't go too hot yesterday. Right now we know at least the output shaft snapped. Sheared completly off and left the driveshaft hanging. I guess the car is hooking too good now and we found the weak link. I probably should have changed that out a long time ago with the stories I've heard of early vins breaking those parts on stock power. I just hope the trans is ok, we'll know more once it's on the lift and work starts on it.

The trans was dropped off yesterday, and I expect about 6 weeks on that. Once it's done I can have it back in within a few hours. I'm hoping it will be done before the Fbody meet and greet at Bakers. One of my favorite shows of the year.

Finally have her back! Didn't make Bakers (at least not with the car but I showed up to hang out with the club for a little bit) but got the trans in last night and got her home finally.
