Added fog lights, need help
Ok everyone i added fog lights to my LS and as soon as I turned them on they cut out. Then randomly they would come on either one at a time or both. Looked in the manual and couldnt find any fuses or breakers or anything related to the center parking lamps/turn signals (inboard of the headlights) which is what I tapped to install. Obviously it isn't a fuse blowing because they would come back on. Does anyone know what monitors the load on that circuit and if there is a way to allow it to draw more?

I'm not sure what Monitors the Load (BCM Maybe). On my LS, when I installed my fog lights, I installed a relay, That seems to work well for mine. I wired it to the Power at the Fuse Panel, Installed an in-line Fuse, and Trigger it from the center parking lights.

Shado- thanks for the info I was thinking the BCM probably monitored it judging by how it was acting. Did you buy the harness from eBay? I think I am going to build one to mimic that harness and save myself like $80

Did the parking lights cut out as well, or only the fog lights? If the parking lights are still on, it's not a circuit or fuse issue.
You should also check the polarity of the wires you are tapping into.

Yes the parking lights would cut out with the fog lights. Checked polarity of wires before install using multimeter. I couldn't even find a relay fuse or breaker for anything other than "hid headlights" and "fog lights" both under good but neither applicable to my car
