Won the Quickest ET for street legal cars during the Year One Fast Friday's Power Hour last night at Atlanta Dragway, Commerce, GA:

Last night I ran two 11.1's, FIVE 11.0x's, and two 10.9x's.

Best was:

10.954 @ 125.60, 1.641 sixty
7.039 @ 100.25 1/8th.

Car was 150lbs heavier (cage, passenger seat, gas). I had to go fill up with gas

because the bucking problem came back at less than 1/2 a tank.

Fun night! Love the new cage and harness. Thanks to the gang at APF for getting it together for me this week.

For 18" rims, you usually have to replace the "roller skate" brake pads with normal ones. I went with Hawk aftermarket pads.

If you want to low buck it you can cut the hockey pucks off the stock pads and it will work just fine.

Thanks for the info. I think I will probably run the same design in 20's. Shouldn't be a problem then. Did the early 2010s have those roller skates? My car is in the shop for the blower install so I can't look at it, but I don't remember seeing them. I will go see her again on Monday to know for sure.

Stock tranny, differential, fuel system? How many pounds of boost are you running? Other than the cam, the motor is pretty much stock?

Top notch crew over at ATLPF, I'm trying to get some money together and figure out my next move, and I really like your build.

Edit, the first post in this thread pretty much answered most of my questions lol.

And your getting way better MPGs than me lol, I checked today and I was under 11mpg. I'm only driving mine once or twice a week, so I do get on it more now.

I just ordered a Corbeau A4, reclining with 1" shaved base. So that ought to help my head clearance issue with the old non-reclining Corbeau. I only ordered the driver's side, so when I pull both seats and put the race seat in, I'll save at least 75 lbs.

Thanks bro! ATLPF has done great work, most recently with the RPM roll cage.

Next up, I ordered a Greddy Profec B Spec II Electronic Boost Controller. That's going to be fun!

I also orderd a ZR1 MAP sensor, which will enable me to measure boost with the MAP and my HP Tuners software.

Next goal is to make the LSX Shootout in Commerce on the weekend of June 2!

Got my www.hexvents.com HEX vents installed today (hood goes back on tomorrow. Did it all myself on my porch.

It draws hot air out from under the hood and helps keep the front end planted.

I'll be at the track on Sunday and hope to get some logs. I expect underhood temps to drop by 30*, which should help my IATs and my cooling between runs.

Eventually, I hope to fab a dedicated intake for the ProCharger intake. That should really help the IATs.

Those look amazing...Very Nice and great color contrasting...

I just got my Hex vents today... 4 of them... I'll be installing them maybe this weekend... It's on my spare hood for racing only... I am mounting two of them in the same location you did, and I'll mount two of them wider out on the hood and a little bit further to the rear....

Going over 200 mph in the mile, I'll take all the help I can removing air from under the hood and keeping the front end down...

When is the next Mile? That's on my to-do list, maybe this year.

Awesome man! Only thing I would do is get rid of the underhood insulation and get the underside of the hood painted.
