All I can say about this...is you can make something like this yourself, but...they are actually very dangerous. Hopefully he was wearing eye protection, as a stray reflection can blind you. Very cool though

either both of you are fairly young, or never watched the original series, as that is a replica of the phaser used, its quite recognizable, not a hot glue gun .
