Does anybody really doubt that there will be some ZL1's in the high eleven's in pure stock trim? Really? That's a quick car by any measurement regardless of what the new GT500 does.

Yeah I did it on drag radials, I also did it on the stock BFG's as well some time after. I ran 12.679 on the stock tires vs the drag radials which was the quickest stock tire time I believe. My r/t and 60' wasn't the best because I sort of babied it off the line to avoid wheel hop. It was around 1mph higher as well. I assume it was because the stock tires are lighter as well as the stickiness of the drag radials works against you in the top end a little bit. Either way I replicated the time a bunch of times on both tires, I have the gift of consistency. The 12.655 was the first 12.6 I ever ran. I used the drag radials because I wanted to save my stock tires obviously, but more importantly the drag radials didn't wheel hop. I was always afraid of fragging that rear end after the first time I experienced wheel hop. It definitely didn't feel good. I will admit though I never could get down to the 12.655 on the stock tires. I think it's ok though considering the ZL1 times being posted by the vendors are on drag radials.

Granted, it at tape drag radials nut anyone with a modded gt500 knows they need drag radials to make the car fun in daily driving.
Honestly, I am disappointed by the ford guys. The z is on par with the ore 2013 gt500, so there is no need to rag on it. Granted some of the comments from Al O BEG for r shit talking, but he did what is expected of him.
