Nice review and exquisite pictures of the footwell and cup holder lighting! It's a bit of an ellegant touch to the car, and adds to the overall experience even more so in my opinion. It came as a dealer installed option on mine, and once I figured out how to use it, I was thrilled to have it. Red or blue, high or low intensity....a cool feature indeed.

Black car looks good with silver wheels, I think you should name it SR-71 or YC-12

Hey Camaro5 guys.
Cameron told me he posted some pictures online and I had to see what it looked like somewhere other than in the hangar. Man, this was an absolute awesome car to get to detail. Brand new cars are actually harder to work on than older ones simply because it is more difficult to make them look better than they already do. This car was in relatively good shape to start out with considering the environment it had been sitting in for so long. Lots of dirt and waterspots and some sort of scum all over it, but otherwise it was pretty clean. Nothing a light polishing wouldn't make absolutely perfect. If you are really interested in what products were used you can check that out by going to my blog where I documented it. The bottom line is it was washed, clayed, and polished to remove all of the contamination and surface scratches and then sealed with CQUARTZ ceramic sealant. That is what gives it the ridiculous shine. This is a product which is supposed to reduce the light swirls caused by washing, so we'll see how well it works. Cameron isn't the kind of guy to be too hard on his vehicles, so I'm sure it will hold up fine. Here are a couple other pictures I took of the beast after we were done with it. The thing is absolutely amazing. Other than the typical GM factory orange peel and a couple specs of dirt which were under the paint, there really isn't much to fault with this vehicle. The leather is awesome and I'm just really impressed with the entire fit and finish of the car. It is definitely something to be envied! ![]() ![]() ![]()

WoW! I've seen this thread several times and I just noticed, especially in that last picture, that the 1 in the ZL1 is not in line compared to others that I've seen here on the forum....maybe Cameron can get that corrected

I think it might just be the angle of the photos. The emblems are meant to be kind of trippy I think.

Not like that! The 1 is going in a downward angle compared to the ZL. All of the others that I have seen do not do that. But if he's happy with it, Oh well....

The hanger is as nice as the car. Man what a sweet place to be able to keep your car. But the car is tits no doubt about it

![]() I love it. It would be hard to give up mine for one though. It would be like giving up on an old friend or a spouse. I may have to win the lottery to have them both. Do you have the part number for that cup holder light kit by the way?

You are actually correct. The angle was very slightly off. The clear coat and tint shop said they would fix it for me on Monday. They said it is no biggie to fix and they see emblems a bit off like this from all manufacturers especially if they are applied by hand.

I'd have them do that soon then. The longer that emblem sits, the harder it is to pop it off without needing to replace the adhesive. Hopefully they are smart enough to know how to debadge without scuffing up the paint in the process.
