Also I got arh 1 7/8th long tubes and goin to get dyno tuned but he thinks it will not be fair if I do headers and a tune

I think he's close 2 300hp but the cars so light

depends on what tune he has, if he has a newer style tune, and bolt ons like intake exhaust he can be pushing as much as 340 at the wheels. Older tunes with less capabilities are still in the 290-320 whp range. It will be close from a roll, from a dig most cobalt drivers dont have the proper set ups to get off the line well on the street. He will prolly even win from a 40 or so roll. You tune your car and headers and he will have to do more. Of course this is all bench racing.

When I was at the track a couple of weeks ago there was a 2009 cobalt running and he said he was making 24 pounds of boost. He also had a cold air intake and said all else was stock . All run for gone on a stock tires. He ran a best of a 12.8 at 114+ mph. if I remember I will post videos of it. bottom line those things are pretty darn fast when they are modded. I was absolutely shocked.

Thanks guys if I'm not mistaken it's a trifecta tune and I've been in it and the things no joke it's just a friendly grudge we got goin but if he takes me on the roll I will never here the end of it and he's not the best off the line so I think I got him there but we shall see

If he takes the roll, you will have the dig. Then your one for one. Do a mile race and you will win at speeds over 120-130 hands down. The little turbo has trouble breathing for long periods of time.

I was just at edgewater. Tc ss beat a camaro ss in the 1/4. Ran a 13.1. First time I've seen the camaros at the track but I never get good times at that track.

Also the aftermarket is getting bigger for the cobalts now as well. My car trapped on nitto nt05's spinning into third 128 mph the other day. Will trap over 130 easy with a little more boost and traction. Car looks and sounds like a stock car with exhaust.

i was running 14.1's at 103-104 all day last friday. and i spun through 3rd. my rear tires are bald lol. im a v6 m6 with vararam intake and straight pipe axle back.
