Painted mine yesterday, installed today.

I ordered the clear but they do not sell them anymore I guess so I opted for the tinted. I taped off the back and the strip of LEDs and shot it with a few coats of adhesion promotor. Once that dried I hit it with about 8 coats of IOM paint, letting each coat dry in between. Then I peeled the tape strip off and shot it with 3 light coats covering the exposed area. After that dried I put about 6 coats of clear on it to seal it all in. A professional would have probably done a better job, they would have been able to hide the strip more. But I think it came out great for only costing me $35.

Heres a few pics of the process:

I personally like the contrast between the silver and black.. I am going with all black for my accent color.

Glad to hear it, love the backdrop there!

To have a cool backdrop plus the cover of an overpass is a great environment to shoot pics of your car.

Can someone add some more photos of the side markers installed on a white camaro with them turned on? I am interested in buying some of these but would like to see what they look like on my color car first.

Thank you. Another picture made it seem like they didn't have that laser effect. Are those just the summit white ones with clear lenses?

Yes, they are pre-painted summit white ones with the clear lenses. They aren't the ghosted ones. You wouldn't believe the compliments we got on the white car AND the new car as well! One of my favorite "upgrades" for sure
