I love carbon fiber sooo much! Thank you Night Shades!

I ordered some new carbon fiber hash marks from night shades and was surprised to find 2 sheets of "extra" vinyl they included in the box! So of course i went crazy and started wrapping everything! So far I wrapped all four taillight bezels, my key, my headphones, the front chevy logo, the shifter plate and the fuel door (which i removed cuz it looked tacky). Anyway here are some pics.

Looks great! How difficult was it to do the rear bezels? I have thought about doing that very thing. Love the key!

It was kinda hard. I ended up just cutting out strips and doing one 1/4 of it at a time while matching the weave to avoid bubbles.

Thank you for supporting us!
Just so others know, it is possible to wrap the tail light bezels and most other parts with no seems.
It just takes a little practice.

Wow I love the bezels. Carbon fiber FTW! I may have to look into this.

Why are you giving me more ideas? I was thinking about this today along with wondering if the Camaro lettering on the side could be wrapped (or at least topped with matte black vinyl leaving a "frame" of chrome giving it a two tone look).

Not sure of the quality, but they sell the pre-cut vinyl on ebay for the CAMARO letters. I ordered some new letters and am going to paint mine gunmetal. I have been playing with paint today on metal to get the best adhesion. I am either going to do the wrap on my bezels or hydrocoat them or just paint them gray also...can't decide yet...maybe paint first, then if I don't like it go to option B, C, etc...I bought some "twill" carbon fiber vinyl to play with, but haven't received it yet. I am going to try and either clear coat it or use a polycrylic top coat...want to see if I can give it some depth. Will try it on scrap pieces before I wrap anything on the car...

I'd be interested to know how that turns out! I am not sure if I want to go the vinyl route, or just buy prepainted emblems and taillight bezels. I am still up in the air on my overall theme, which is my hesitation to do anything right now.

If the clear coat or poly works, I will do a DIY write-up. I have heard some people spraying clear coat on it and anymore than 3 coats, it loses color and just looks black...so we will see what I can think of. I am hesitant to use vinyl too...but have seen some nice pieces done like the OP did...
