I had a great time. Thanks again to Heinz family for letting us use his place!

I always look forward to these events. I think we are going to finish up the wiring on the line lock this morning on JDs car once sleeping beauty gets up.

Of the cars that I worked on...

I think Racheal is happy with her car. Other than the mysterious missing bolt that finally turned up, the fact that the X pipe didnt actually fit and need way more work than it should have and I think the welder running out of gas at the end... it ended up coming out nice. I thought it sounded good!

JDs brake lines were a snap. The leaking line lock... not so much. After that was all buttoned up and the system flushed/bled and that one was finished up.

Mike's truck... sorry man, thats not a few hour job. That rust can be beat, just not in a day. In the end, good thing we didnt even try. Welder ran out of gas before finishing up the exhaust. Lets just say some of the welds are not too pretty.

Austin, thanks for all your help with JDs brakes. Kris says you are trying to relocate? Good luck to you, but if you stick around and want help with the springs, let me know. You could swing down one weekend and we can get them on for you. Its only a couple hours.

1000 thanks again to D and his dad.

Had a great time! Thanks to everyone for their help on my all day suspension project (Matt, Drew, Hank, Todd, Gordy, Chris, etc). And to Drew and Jason on the heater hoses and DRL mod. Wish I would have had some more free time to socialize a bit! I'll be posting pics and the gopro time lapse tonight or tomorrow.

Agreed! A big thank you to Heinz and his dad for hosting! No mods for me, but it's always fun talking cars with people whose eyes don't glaze over LOL. And all kinds of other stuff, too! Would've been nice if the weather was nicer, but at least with the rain, RedHot was not the dirtiest car there!

Looks like everybody had plenty of fun. I just couldn't make it. Getting this sprint car together takes priority at the moment.

A couple things I noticed while going through the pictures. First, man does Mike like ice cream. Second, I noticed Rachel and Pat are at the exact spot I found the missing bolt, hmmmm.

Once again thanks to Doug and his father we had another great and productive mod day. I enjoyed seeing everyone again.

No sir! Idiot installer (me) left a plug loose on the side of the solenoid. Easy fix once we determined where it was coming from. Thanks to Austin for zeroing in on the leak!

Guys/gals, I had a great time hanging with y'all again! Thanks to Doug and his dad for hosting this. It was awesome. Also thanks to Jason and Kris for hosting Cheryl and me for the weekend. Thanks to Cincy Speed for getting my clutch installed and Apex motorsports for bringing up the stainless brake lines. Got the line lock wired with mostly Jason doing it. Test was a success!!

Sick burnout!!!

Nate-- sorry to hear you have a knot there. I know you hit it a few times. :(

Had a chance to reaaaaallly get on it today on my way to King's Island. It was so much FUN! And oddly enough, I don't have a CEL yet...

I datalogged after the install yesterday so I've gotta send that over to BNR for an updated tune.
