Ruby Again Beat Mustang & whuped SS! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Okay tonight was Music City Camaro club's Spring Fling Event and we had a blast! I will start a bigger thread so other club members can post up videos because all of our camera batteries one by one died except for one person's. So it will take us all to doccument the full event. But I just had to post that I beat another Mustang and and whuped another SS! I have to appologize for the lousy quality video & there are better videos from other cameras but just for now, here is me beating the Mustang GT. I beat an SS in the races but it was by breakout in bracket racing. Still.....I beat him. In time trials I beat another SS by time but his reaction time was better so he won. Out of 16 5th Gen Camaros racing in the bracket race, I was the only V6 & I came out in 4th place. I thought that was to too shaby. I will post up my time slips next.

Mustang butchered that run.... Sounds supercharged too, he shoulda had that race no problem.

Nice run though! Very good launch! People underestimate the launch sometimes (which I myself need to work on.... [don't tell anyone!])

Just a CAI inc intake & Borla exhaust.

Look like the stang missed a gear. That is the very reason I believe you're going to see a lot of ZL1s with the automatic stomp GT500s.

Good Job! Love to see people having fun with their rides.

Yeah, he ran a 80 mph trap speed to her 75 mph and he bogged the hell out of it on the launch. He would have caught you in the 1/4 for sure. And ugh, 2V V8s, definitely not a great era for the Mustang.

Good win just the same, though.
