Has anyone tried a JRE tune with simple bolt ons (CAI, Cat back) on a LS3? If so, what kind of gains/drivability did you notice? Other threads mention that a JRE tune really wakes up the L99, but not much is mentioned about the LS3.

The L99 guys get a lot more benefit due to the tranny tune (you already get the shift the LS3 how you want to). I don't think a tune is worth it until you get headers. Hell, even with headers it wasn't a night and day difference with me.

I have an ls3 with intake, cat delete, and corsa catback. Just installed my jre tune last week and did not notice much difference in driveability. Did feel like i picked up a bit of power on the top end though.

I was the opposite. I felt like WOT at high rpms was no different, but the lower end was a lot better. I did have headers when I tuned, though.

Have a ADM-CIA, AMT Catback, and a VMax throttle body and a JRE tune with SCT handheld. Feels much snappier on the bottom off idle, have never had it dyno'd so no real data to go by, but does feel great with the butt dyno, drivability much improved, no stumble, or dead spots. Ted did a great job for me.
