So your speedo will be fast by about 13.3%. You speedo will read 13% faster than you are actually going. It may help you not to speed, but will also rack up more miles on your car.

Same problem after my gear swap on of the rear wheel speed sensor was bad....$14 dollars & 1bolt and all good. The gear will only throw the speedo off shouldn't be lights.

More misinformation.
![]() When your speedo is off it is off by a percentage, not by a set number. If you change your gears by 10% then your speedo is off by 10% At 10 mph it will be off by 1 mph, at 50 mph it will be off by 5 mph, at 80 mph it will be off by 8 mph, ect. As you can see you can't just say your speedo will be off by X mph, unless of course you say your speedo will be off by X mph at X mph.

I had a friend do some work on his car and when he finished he had lights all over the dash and was worried... So i climbed in his car and started it. Problem solved.. LMAO. Its probably nothing major. make sure you're reflashing your car correctly and burn up the road! :-)

This is simple math. If you increase or decrease your gear ratio by any percentage, you will inversely change your speed by that same percentage. Numbers don't lie.

No, I noticed the speed difference at 30mph and again at 50mph there was a 7-8mph difference both times two times when I was at steady speeds is when I noticed, I was not looking for it the number was the same as far as the speedo being off, again I did not go over 50 until I changed the gear ratio later that day. Maybe I do have a crappy GPS

The wire is very thin and delicate. Most people don't unplug them before messing with the rear suspension. The plastic sheath can stretch but the wire inside can't and it breaks. I see people do this ALL the time. I always unplug them when I do any work close to them, just to be safe.
