That shouldn't be allowed, he should be thrown out. That is freakin' dangerous. If you can't control your car get off the damn track.

It is at an event we call KOTS (King Of The Streets) Pretty much no rules. If he would of crossed the line in front of the other car he would of been DQ'd. Since he crossed the line behind the other driver it was still considered a win.

I think the guy in the black mustang probably got freaked out seeing that asshole come in to his lane out of control and let off...

Cross the center line and it is an automatic DQ. The rules are dictated by your insurance underwriter (most follow nhra) and if he knew crossing the Center line was allowed at that track they would soon be unable to get insurance and out of business shortly thereafter.

Also, he's getting an unfair advantage with the lack of drag on his car by entering the "jetstream" of the front guy...

Maybe that was the plan - NASCAR style for the win.

Just so everyone knows, there was 10,000 dollars on that race. That's why the fox body stayed in it. I have a feeling that the black stang let off and that gave the silver one, there was a chance to win.
Both racers knew the rules before going into that race. |

Yeah... it did look like the black one was waiting at the end... the car pulls it's front wheels off the ground and goes straight... it should have won by a long shot.

That's why I won't line up with Fox-bodies that can't be bothered to paint their hoods.
![]() And it seems like the consensus is that he "won" the race not because of ballsey driving, but because of the electrical failure of his opponent. Without that he would have just looked like an idiot.Padre |
