wow.. this is getting pretty exciting.. I agree on the idea of the the sticky on top of the forum for the mid-atlantic... do we have any people that can draw or design really well?? maybe a 1st State C5 sticker can come out of this.. doesnt have to be something too big or what no.. just like what the forum have for Camaro5. just small for those who would like to support the unofficial club we have going. any opinions?? I have realized that throwing ideas out there usually bring back good results.

I dont have a FB page, but i might have to join just to be a part of the Camaro page! I like the idea of getting at the top of the mid atlantic forum. Also like the idea of a first state Camaro club sticker. Nothing too big, but something that lets everyone know who you are a part of.......

I've been kicking that sticker idea around... nothing extravagent as of right now. Maybe I will be able to get ahold of a friend of mine that did a mural for our gym wall at the PD...he's also a tattoo artist...may have some good ideas.

^^^I agree Ryan, anything on the car should be something simple.

If you guys don't mind some DMV cars joining every now and again, I'm sure some of us from our DMVC5 crew would be down for the ride over to Dover.

Im pretty sure no one would mind if you guys come over. Actually the more the merrier. it is all about the camaro and get to meet people and their hard work on the car. hopefully well be able to set up next meet with more time so more guys from around the area can join us.

Hey Jim, yeah that would be really cool. maybe he can come up with something really good that would probably make our group and official camaro club. see I knew that someone will have a plan for the sticker..

Been doing art/illustration work for ages. (pencil drawings mainly) but I have plenty of photoshop skills...

Yeah buddy... that drawing is nice.. Man you are an artist.. Maybe you can draw something like that of my camaro and I will pay you for it. so I can frame it.. I would like to get a poster of what it looks like.. would you be down for it??

Well I think the sticker should be 1st State C5. something creative and subtle. maybe spell out first and state and then just C5 idk.. I suck at inventions so you expert can do it

Yeah, it seems we are a day late on all the shows down here....ugh / But seriously it was just fun meeting with other Camaros and Camaro5 members this time.

Will they still do that cruise with it being race weekend?

Damn Picaso, you got skillz.

Seriously, I was thinking, in terms of something simple.....They used to call DE the Diamond State.....so something in a diamond shape and use bright blue (background) and gold for the edging and lettering. A big one thru the center in a different color (maybe red?) with C / 5 on either side in gold.....maybe a small camaro outline in there somewhere.

I have a couple ideas too...Ill throw together some mock ups in the next day or so and see what folks like. Seems like anytime a business or organization whats their name associated with Delaware they always incorporate "first state" in their title. I think it would be cool to shoot for something a bit more unique so the diamond thing could certainly be cool.

I also found a V6 with gold accented lettering and Heritage wheels MD tags parked in front of the Capital building last night. Couldn't stop at first but after a few complaints I was able to swing back around to it....
There were 3 gentlemen standing across the street, so I stopped and asked if one of them was the owner.
Come to find out it was, and actually they all belong to the DE corvette club...apparently most of them have more than one muscle car in the stable.
Anyway, they really want us to come out to their events.
I was also able to find out that they are doing something where they are taking their cars out on Dover Downs (Its paced and not that fast but its still out on the track). I will see who I have to speak to if we want to do something like that.

Whoa that's awesome!

I met a couple of the Corvette club members. They are all very laid back and cool.

Next time I'm getting into the photo shoot - all the Camaros facing and staring down on one Mustang haha. It'll be a pretty cool wallpaper.
