Wasn't the LM1 you mention essentially a complete SS without the badges. As in, you order this motor, it has to come with multi-leaf springs, 12 bolt etc etc

Could be.....I've seen some weird things before.....best to count the bolts, read the code, and spin the rear tires.

But you're right, the car is basically a badgeless SS350.

Dirty as a pig pen, but thats just dirt and oxi. degreaser and powerwasher!

Looks very original.........o baby o baby.

Don't throw anything away....especially the AC. Even that voltage regulator that was on the floor. If you are gonna drive it use octane booster.....

The trim tag is a little blurry bro.....maybe another try.

Cleaned up and polished (not restored)....thats an easy 18K-20K car. Mother's day is this weekend.

PS I'm dying to know some of the casting numbers....so I'll even give you one.
The number for the intake manifold is behind the carb and it should be 3927184....same as the SS, Pacecar and Corvette! Good Company right?

Nice project and as you well know you can go as far as you desire. I would do a complete rebuild from bumper to bumper. But that is me an old retired dude. Hope that you keep posting as you progress.

I haven't had time, in over a month to mess with it, but I got the shock tower mounts new fuel line, and other goodys. Im going to the to rebuild it slowly. But im going to have my friend weld that stuff in and I can rebuild the front end,except im going with the polyurethane bushing. Im saving for the tires which im getting the bf Goodrich radial tires. Its a slow process.but its kinda fun.

I saw two 69 at a car show here in San Diego on friday night. The blue one was for sale $20,000. The only drawback was it had a 307 CI. It wasn't perfect but lot of potential. The Synergy gareen was awesome, my picture don't even give it any justice due to the time of day I took the pictures.

Synergy green is the color on the new Camaros and is a much brighter shade of green.

The color of the Camaro in the pic is a stock 1968 color. The color of that car is rallye green and it is a much darker shade

Actually I talked to the owner and he told me he got the color from the 2011 Camaro. Its a recent paint job, it was late in the afternoon so my camera did not capture the true color. Thanks for the info. I had a 69 Camaro Burnished Brown/Champagne back in 69.

WOW, I guess I was wrong then, but your camera definitely didn't capture the color well at all. Look at this pic compared to the one you took. Definitely not the same looking at all.

Beautiful 69, I am looking to purchase a 69, but here in California they are pretty pricey. The only good thing is a lot less rust if your doing a restoration.

They are just as pricey in the northeast, except we when spend the same money as you, we get our cars with tons of rust.

If we want a car without any rust (say from your area), we pay a premium on top of the already high prices. I guess I'm lucky that I bought mine over 20 years ago, before the prices went sky high
