Has anyone used the aeroforce trigger relay yet? I just got it in and was wondering this, if you trigger via IAT wouldn't the warning lights come on as soon as it hit said temp? Wouldn't be too fun driving around with a red light on constantly.

That's the way I understand how it works. The relay is triggered by the annunciator signal. I have one on the way and now I'm not too sure if I'm going to use it or just have the fans on 100 % of the time.

That is correct. The lights will be on when the relay is activated. The thought is that the light acts as a confirmation that the relay is activated so there is not doubt by the user.

You could put some tint film over the top 1/4 of gauge face to dim the intensity of the lights.

I have a curious question. Whats the HP difference on a stock Whipple setup with say a 4" pulley at normal operating tempature vs heat soaked?

We are losing 20-30hp on our dyno when heat soaked, but in the real world it could be even more than that!

Here are some pictures of the unit with our Matte Black Thermal Barrier Heat coating, which also adds a stealth look for people who wants it.

This is a special order item only to have this coating.
