Can it be done? Just a matter of how much you want to push the envelope. Wheel and tire experts will say no you shouldn't do it. But then again we shouldn't put 305 drag radials on the 9" wheel but seems like many have done that too. I am not saying it is right or wrong, just saying I know I have seen others have done it.

No I cant do it. I will stick with the high dollar 305 on 10"
or go to the f14 on a 10.5 with the 315"s I would like to see
the f14's . I like the TWS you ordered they also have a better
color choice and better bang for the buck over the f14's

Fronts are easily going to be the 20x9 ET20 fitment probably running a 275 up there as well. As for the rears, offset should be the 20x10 ET35, probably running a 305 back there as well (or something similar). Tires on there are Toyo R888's which run wider than normal just FYI.

The Toyo R888's are only available in 315/30-20 or 285/35-20, I would assume that is what he is running on those rims. Considering the buldge on the tire I would assume those are the 10's and 9's. On a side note those are awesome tires, run through 3 sets on my SS and have another set coming info for the ZL1

that toyo 285 on a 10" rim would have been the money maker.

[QUOTE=skar;4940063]I like it . on a stock SS can i go with a wide 305/35-20 = 28.4" tall" wheel . Will the fender tire gap be to big in rear.(10' nurburing) and what size to up front.[/

Yes, you can run a 305/35/20 and the fender gap will not be to big. A 275/40/20 is perfect for the front.

New TSW's arrived and I put them on a few minutes later. Total weight savings of just over 20 lbs. Little over 5lbs per corner.

LOVE EM.

Went up to Woodward to show them off. Good thing I went too with my Camera. A ZL1 Vert showed up tonight too.

Anyone running 20x10's all around? And with what tire? I'm looking for a decent track combination to get quickly.

But Padre proves you can still pull great 60' times with lowering springs (1.5 sec 60' and he runs 1" BMR lowering springs).

I am running the Eibach pro kit (1" drop all around)... Those are 22 inch wheels that were for a photoshoot for best wheel deals.. 265/35/22 up front and 295/30/22 in the rears.. The car looked awesome on the 22's but performance took a toll... No rubbing at all with that setup....
