Oil question.
is it ok to run 10/30 or 10/40 weight oil in these during the summer?

Why wouldn't you just run 5/30? Big sale on 10/40 there? Never mind me I'm an idiot. I'll just wait in the truck til somebody intelligent can help you and then I'll know the answer too!

I wouldn't run 10/40 on these newer engines (especially with lower miles) regardless of the season- too many tight tolerances and varying expansion rates of all the alloys in them.
10/30 in summer-sure!
