Subthump complete package
Hey guys, has anyone ordered this package from Subthump? I have a non-BA system and curious if the 'plug and play' harness will work? I'm looking to only add subs w/amp to my factory radio, nothing more nothing less.

I believe that harness is BA only, but i could be wrong. I know that Steve@subthump was talking about working on non-BA harnesses, but I do not know their status. Your best bet would be to contact Subthump and ask them.

I actually emailed subthump with the same question. Steve told me that he could substitute a LOC instead of the BA harness. Still unsure of how to do this myself as I do not have much experience with audio systems. Would rather not pay someone to install though. are you going to install this kit yourself?

I had never done anything prior to my install either. I do have the BA system, but it wasn't that bad. I did the stealth box/5 channel amp system and put together a DIY on how to do it. I don't see this system being much different, other than the harness(es).

Most likely yes, the LOC doesn't look too complicated.. I still have questions on how/where the remote wire would go though.

Yeah, me too. I've seen some of the DIY's on here, but its hard for me to find out what I would have to do as most people seem to have the BA system.

Like I said, it is a different system than what you were looking at, and it is for a BA system, but I imagine that most of the steps should be similar... |
