Hey Alex, car sounds nice!! Hope your not worried about the crackling from the exhaust when its revved. It will go away when you put some more miles on your car. Enjoy your beautiful car I love the ZL1's but yours looks ridiculously good!

eh, i dono. I think it sounds worse than before. Like a truck...

The Z really needs a chambered exhaust like flowmasters... I think that with some longtubes and an x pipe, would sound awesome, IMO...

I agree. I had the Stingers on my C5 Vette and also have them on my C6. Mated with the LG long tube headers, it has a very powerful but not overly loud sound.

Having heard the ZL1's system, though, I think I'll leave it as is when I take delivery.

Yeah I think I should just spend that money towards headers

I think it sounds pretty nice (as nice as a cell phone vid will allow). I bet it sounds great in person!

What did you do with the vacuum butterfly valves? Remove them? What about the vacuum lines?

Maybe this will help.

I'll be leaving my stock mufflers on... headers are always possible depending on other mods.

thanks everyone! it sounds like the stock system in person but alittle deeper and louder with full throttle, the video doesnt do it justice! it is a prototype system that they are designing. they asked me if they can take the car back to do some more r&d and possibly develop long tube header system! the valves arent active anymore, infact they plugged the hoses.
