I only wash mine 1 or 2 times a month, garage kept and not my DD.

I live on a dirt road, so I wash my Camaro daily (rather, I hose it off with 65 cents at the local hands-free wash). As far as serious detailing, probably once a month or so... wax and polish every three.

Drive mine daily and won't get washed for weeks, thats even if Im lucky. Rather let if stay dirty then take it through a carwash and risk damage.

I wash mine about 1x per week.. It rains quite a bit up here in WA state...

Spring sucks because all the trees are pollinating and leaving a lot of tree pollen on the car.

And the front end seems to be a bug magnet.. Yellow paint + black bugs = very noticeable.

Actually, yellow seems to be almost as bad to keep up with as black.. Except Yellow doesn't show swirl marks as much.

I still need to do a really good detail on it since I bought it from the dealer.. it was used, so the paint needs some attention with clay and other good detail stuff.

No wonder some have had the car for 3 years and have no miles. Maybe driving the car would be more enjoyable than washing it 6 hours a week??

1-2 washes a week, depending on how many highway miles I've logged. I use it every day around town after work, but if I also took it to commute to work, I will wash it more often.

Do you dry it thoroughly after hosing off? Water spots?

A little detail spray and mf towels keep dust off in between.

Who on earth has the time to hand wash a car 3x a week? They should realize that there will be water sitting in places that you can't see 99% of the time with that frequency... and we know what sitting water can lead to...
