Calling all Oregonians

This thread is pretty much just meant to see how many C5'ers are in Oregon. Its a little lonely as far as camaros in my area so I just want an idea of who's where, and how many are out there. Forgive me if this was started already or if its pointless.
Thanks for stopping by!

I know Madras, use to have a client there and would make the trip every couple months. Also use to go camping at Sisters too.

I used to live in Redmond, OR. Moved back to WA last year. We have family that still lives in Madras, maybe we can do a little meet when we come down to visit?

I am considering a move from Phoenix Arizona to the Seattle, WA or Portland, OR area. Looking at weather.com, there appears to be lot of rain from what I am used to. Also, snow is something I haven't had to deal with when driving my Camaro. I currently have a bit over 40K on my Camaro, drive it all the time. The club I belong to does a lot of runs and charity shows.
I'm looking at various posts and see a lot of activity - but how often do you get the Camaro out? Do you guys get snow tires on the Camaro during the winter months or just park it?

I am south of Portland about 1hr 45mins in Eugene. I drive my car every day. Portland only gets a couple of days a year of snow. Those day you just call in sick If you don't like rain don't move to Seattle. It is a great city but it rains a ton.

Snow is very rare here in Portland unless you head to the mountains, rain yes but I drive my Camaro everyday rain or shine I just enjoy it. Seattle is more expensive, rains more and on average probably 10 degrees cooler than Portland.

I'm across the river from Portland. Travel a lot yet when I'm home I drive it daily. Summers in the Pacific North West CAN'T be beat! Yes it does rain. But you wash your car, right? Yes there are clubs in both areas. I can speak for Columbia River Camaro Club as a member, we do a lot of activities as a group and as a few members just out having fun. We are a charity club with no pressure. Think over your move. our climate averages only a 45 degree change from summer to winter with a few odd days.

Thanks for the responses. I have a develoment background, something I haven't been able to get back into since the economy went bust. I've been looking for jobs with utilities and the government. Hopefully something pops and I can meet you guys!
