We get a few of these questions every week or so. For legality, you would need to check with your local jurisdiction. Vehicle inspection criteria are usually a good starting point. We make no guarantees to any of our products' street legality, not even for the clear headlight protection kits.

Even with the darkest material the running lights and brake lights were visible from 1000 feet.

Just installed the HID blue headlights, stealth smoked taillights and carbon fiber on the rear bow tie. Took a few hours to install and not too hard, so now I guess we wait and see if I get stopped.

ChromeEmblems.com, $25 and made my own plastic backing to match the grill and used the plastic holder from behind the grill that came with the original bow tie. A very fun mod!

I got pulled over this afternoon just south of San Antonio today. He told me it was for no front plate and tinted tails. I have a show-n-go or what ever and pulled out the plate. He didn't ticket me for that but did for the tails. I'll try to fight it but will probably end up having to pay. I work out of the country so it is doubtful I'll even get to see the judge the way they schedule the hearings. Trooper was super bored or something. He was just cruising the slow lane at about 55 making everyone pass him so he could find a reason. I was the lucky one.
