Hey everyone so just as of today as I was leaving work my car wasn't starting, it would start then die. Then when I gave it gas it started right up. Sense then, every time I start my car I have to do it. previously of today it was always took a couple cranks to start then within the past few weeks it started getting worse where it would take a bit longer. Then this happened. now I question could it be the idle air control valve or a fuel pressure problem? im not sure. any advice to this would help me out a ton. :(

what should I start with to diagnose my problem? because Id like to see if its the easier things rather than taking the journey down the spark plug road. any advice would be appreciated.

You can get a guage to check fuel pressure, which would be first thing to do, but unfortunately almost always these types of issues are the opti on these years of cars.

Sounds like a fuel control problem to me, such as an ect sensor. The sensor is sensing a false temperature adding too much fuel and creating a hard start problem. That would explain having to work the throttle to get it to start (more air when the throttle plates are open). I'm not 100% sure that's your problem but it would be something to check into.
