you got the solo j-pipe axle back and you're not getting any drone at all.
how hard was it to install?
do you have the LS3 or L99 trans.
very interested in the solo j-pipe, what's your opinion of them.
thanks
dan

Looking to put these on 2012 SS L99 with no other mods.
thanks
I hope I'm not too late with this but I gotta say it. Don't put the Borla axle back mufflers on your L99 unless you plan to tune out AFM, which in turn, will void your powertrain warranty. I put them on my car and I hated it. AFM noise drove me crazy with the Borla's. Trust me, you will be sorry if you go this route.

I have the L99. I waited a long time for a drone free system and the
Solo J-pipe axle backs were the answer. No drone at any RPM.
A muffler shop installed them for me in less than an hour.
The best IMO.

Maybe I'm missing it but does this kit work on verts?

+1

except that I drive in M mode paddle shift to avoid the AFM engaging (plus I just like driving with the paddle shift ) since I don't want to void my warranty with a tune... yet

Oh and I love the sound of the Borla S axle-back!

Like I said: buy Solo, leave it in "D" and enjoy.

Go to this link to see available options: http://borla.com/products/product_de...prod_sku=11775

I believe there is 2 systems. One is to fit factory ground effects and the other is for all other V8 Camaro's including verts.
