Thanks to Phil @ Tampa Tuning for bringing out the car I knew I purchased. With his engine & tranny tuning, I now have a real SS. It's worth the fee just to disable cylinder deactivation mode, but the throttle response and transmission shifts make this a whole new car -- so much more fun to drive! Thanks, Phil!

I was on the fence for a long time on whether to get a tune in my car. I did a lot of reading on this site to help me decide. Well, this weekend Phil at Tampa Tuning just tuned it. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. Phil took his time and explained everything he was doing. He made the car come alive and did not stop until he was sure everything was perfect. Tons more power and so much more fun to drive. Phil was a great guy to deal with. Thank Phil for finding the hidden power.

I thought Id add a couple screen shots from my HP tuners scanner which shows the differance before a tune and after a tune. The stock tune pulls about 6 degrees of timing at WOT and keeps the car rich. Tampa Tuning will dial in your AFR for optimized performance at a safe level while removing the knock retard. Look how wild the AFR error is on the stock configurations

Tryed Phil out this weekend after having car tuned several years ago by another well known tuner and his tune was just ok, Did AFR heads and cam and gears and was not running at its best and original tuner moved, Waited 2 years not sure which tuner to use and found and checked out Phil with good reviews, He Tuned the car and drove with me to see how i liked it which the other tuner did not do, and he fixed all my problems and car runs great and tested it on the way home and wow, Will be using Phil on any future engine upgrades, He does a great job not in a hurry and the price is very good Thanks Bill

Phil did a great job. It was probably good I couldn't see the speedo from the back seat. He made me promise not to barf on his collar.

Seriously, this is a real professional who completely and competently improved my car.

Okay, it chirps from 3rd to 4th, and thinks about it on the next shift. If it didn't have anti-slip it probably would smoke the tires.

I loved this car before Phil tuned it. Now I might just marry it :-) No wait, it's name is the Blue Dragon, I married one of those before. Never a good idea.

Good job, Phil.

This is the second auto tranny I ever bought (other was a VW and I had a 4 year old). You know, I don't think I made a mistake. Affter Phil finished with it I doubt I could ever shift that fast. Lost HP, yes, auto does use some. It's still a remarkable car.

I heard someone went out and purchased all the bolt ons, and cam last week to make the car even more fun. I cant want to tune the dragon for the cam.

$290 for bolt ons and under vehicles.
$350 for heads and or cam vehicles.
$500 starting for Forced Inductions vehicles only on a dyno.
$100 additional charge to convert a package to a dyno tune.

Add $100 for any of the above packages for trucks and some other low volume vehicles.

Your vehicle must be mechically sound prior to tuning because tuning can not overcome, poor mechincal conditions.
