There are a few ways. On the dyno you can actually see the boost drop on the graph.

Or on the pulley's themsleves they will get black with dust from the bely doing a burnout on the pulley (slipping).
Ah Ha! Thanks for the info..

Got the pulley today, problem is that it's spaced out about 1/4 further than the other pulleys. Oh well.

Can you put washers on the back side of the tensioner bracket (where it bolts to block) to push it out slightly to line up with the other pulley? I can't tell from your pic what you've got going on but we shimmed my tensioner a little bit due to an alignment issue and it worked fine.

Scratch the previous post. Turns out my "challenged" side was handling the wrenching today!! After first forgetting to plug in the TB harness before turning the key, getting a reduced power message, calling Ted on his way home, having him tell me to reset the codes, and getting that working, turns out I didn't have the pulley fully seated!!! My other half stepped in and straightened it all out! Game on for Friday.

Do you have it back words? That looks WAY OFF! There are special shims available for the pulleys when off just a bit...

I've sooooooooo done that.

Found it fairly quickly which is not necessarily a good thing because it's only because I've done it enough to recognize it right away.

I found it...tungsten metal coating:

This was the ONLY one we found to stop belt slip in applications like yours......but it eats belts. Unreal grip!

Trac, I've seen this before. Looks brutal. Like drying your car with 100 grit sandpaper.

With this pulley I can immediately tell that something is different. The car revs much quicker. I'll test it at the track. If I eat a belt every track day then so be it. Just as long as it's doing it's job!
