The politicians here could bite my left nut for all this crap.

As far as any sort of profiling, I've gotten pulled over, on the way to the track in my area, for slotted taillight shades, and the first thing the officer wanted to do was look under the hood. Too bad my long tubes were polished stainless, because they stuck out like a sore thumb when I opened the hood, LOL. It's rediculous because I was literally going 53 MPH in a 55 zone when he saw me, because I was watching him.

As long as California west of me slides into the Pacific, I could give an 'ish. F these bug eaters.

They pulled me over in 97 chevy 1/2 ton, in fairness, with an exhaust and yellow flames.

I guess the fact that the law they introduced gives them the permission to do it to anyone is what is so annoying. What bugs me is they can't tell the difference between a Stock WRX and an illegally modded ricer. Giving a law enforcement officer the latitude to write a speeding ticket because he saw some one speeding is one thing. But giving them the authority to write a ticket because it looks custom is ridiculous. Not all officers are car guys/gals.

Sorry if I offended anyone from California who frequents this forum or loves cars. I think everyone knows who we are referring to when we want California to fall into the ocean. It's the retards who pass laws such as the one above. It's the a-holes who passed "crusher" laws that allowed electric companies to destroy classic American cars instead of cleaning their own emmisions. I could go on and on about this but we all kinow what I'm talking about.

well that technically is impossible because i would split along the San Andreas Fault and it is on a Transform/Transverse Boundary, it would have to be a Divergent Boundary
so in like 100 million years San Francisco will just be a division of L.A. and in about another 100 million L.A. will be part or oregon

California Expands Crackdown on Modified Cars
The California agency issued $4.4 million in local grants for a modified car ticketing campaign that generates more than $10 million in revenue for the state. The California Office of Traffic Safety issued $4.4 million in grants last Friday to three law enforcement agencies to fund an ongoing crackdown on vehicles with "illegal" modifications. The Highway Patrol (CHP) received the largest of the grants at $2,980,587. Ontario police collected $620,000 and Irwindale police $321,044. The grants are designed to fund training and support for efforts to reduce illegal street racing. In practice, the effort has focused on issuing traffic citations to owners of modified cars with the state government collecting far more in citation revenue than has been handed out in grants.
Here's a positive thing the Irwindale Police are involved with http://www.irwindalespeedway.com/dra...te/ticket.html

Man... this sh!t sucks donkey balls!!

Everyone has a right to make their car their own, just because they have 500+ ponies waiting to brake loose doesn't mean they're going to race around everywhere.... and if they want to crack down on "illegal" mods then, they need to get people who know what they're looking at to inspect the cars.

Bloody GOV's!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I live in Cali and I know that it's all about the state getting money, I think we're still something like 4 billion in debt but idk, I got too depressed to follow it...

Yeah California laws suck balls. I hate not being able to black out my tail lights even when you would still be able to see my brake lights perfectly from a mile away with the black outs on!
