Sorry something doesn't fly. The transmission is definitely one of the top 5 items anyone considers when buying a car. How could someone buy it if they didn't want it? Can you post the vin #?

PS I bought a 2010 2SS/RS and sold it last September due to financial obligations, and now I'm in the market for another one. I am considering a 2012 ZL1 or 2013 1L3.

Fixed it for ya!

All kidding aside, the asking price is probably too high for a bone stock ZL1 with 100 on the clock. There are plenty of dealers who will let these things go for MSRP, and the ones that won't still have them on the lot. The minute he drove it off the lot it's no longer worth what he paid let alone 68K. Just my .02

Nothing wrong with someone trying to make a profit. If they can find someone who wants to pay that or close to it then good for them.

Just a bit contrary to the info which was provided to me.

It's nice of you to help him try to sell it, but there are dealers selling brand new ones for less money right now, good price my foot.

Good luck!

If you are a serious buyer call or text me at this number: 956-607-9023

I would be happy to send you a lot more photos or meet with you.

Buyer will be getting a very good price!
That last sentence had me thinking about it, then after reading further i see the "very good price" is'nt so very good. I've been waiting for a used ZL1 to be for sale (not quite this soon i admit) just to see what the difference in price would be from a new one. WOW! Lets just say i'll still be waiting.

maybe you should *inform* him that 68k isn't a "good price" for a used ZL1 let alone a new one...

But either way good luck to him, and nice of him to have a friend like you to help out

A 5th gen Camaro forum is probably the worst placein the world to try to sell a used Camaro at an asking price over MSRP. If there's anyone who knows the value of used 5th gens, it's these guys...the concensus: probably won't sell for that price! Good luck, though.

Agreed, Mustang or Challenger forum should be better place to try to sell it not Camaro Forum.

.....................You and about a thousand other peeps (me included ).

By the way, maybe to the owner of this ZL1, it is a good price because it's possible that he was one of the Guys that paid $20k over MSRP, so $68k would be a good price to him.

To the OP,it's Very Nice of you to help your friend sell his car, but at that price, I think that he'll probably have two ZL1's when his 2013 comes in. Just my opinion though.

yes this price is crazy high. there is one listed for 3k over MSRP Brand new from a chevey dealership and they are having a hard time selling it too!! why would anyone pay that much for a used one!!!?

just trying to help if he really needs it sold. the more he keeps it the cheaper it will get. he really should consider lowering the price now to get it sold. he might not be able to get the offers that he got now next month!!
