My brother and I are both coming - we both drive stock 2012 5.0's. We are trying to bring a few that may be a bit faster than us..not sure though.

I was up in Iowa for a start up about a month ago, tell him don't hurry to get there.

You'll enjoy Seagoville, lots of things you don't see everyday.....

What do you do in Abilene? My uncle is out at Dyess AFB.

I'm in the USAF here at dyess. Almost everyone coming from abilene except like 1 or 2 are all military.

Yea i don't know much about the area down there most of my time in Dallas has been spent at the airport, Arlington, rowlett or Mansfield. I'm just trying to find a decent hotel its starting to sound like we will just go back to the DFW/Arlington area lol

I live in Rockwall and there is a Decent hotel right on Interstate 30 and Dalrock. I can't remember the name of it though. Lots of things to do in Rockwall too.

My uncle retired, 27 years and majority was spent there. I think he said he has a civilian job there still...I could be wrong.


Crandal isn't all that bad, Im not sure if they have a Hotel there but I bet they do.

Not yet. I was down in Houston for a week, then had family here for a week. Friday, hopefully.

Rockwall has some very nice hotels and restaurants and it is close to the track. :slice:
