I have new 20x9.5 front and 20x11 rear wheels. Just wanted to make sure, would the stock tires from the ZL1 be a good fit for these? I have an SS, and this would make locating and purchasing tires much more painless. I'm hoping these tires won't throw off systems and will fit nicely.

Thanks!

I sure hope the tire shop talked you out of that combination! Those tires are WAY too narrow for those width rims!

i just got the car back and the reason i got them that size was so i can lower it and the tires wont hit the fender cuz of the 20mm offset but im not so sure about the 35 i kinda wish i would of went with 40 on tire height

The big problem will come when you roll the tire off the rim! That tire is stretched beyond a safe distance and the shop that put those on should be avoided at all costs!

Why? For racing you want as much tire as possible.

Hey 9 Ball,
Thanks for the info. I just ordered a set of Hurst Stunner wheels and 315-35-20s Nitto Invos for the back and 275-40-20s for the front.

Same here.

Interesting aside: I have 10" wide rears. The guy at www.discounttiredirect.com told me the 295/35/20 Nitto Invo, which is what I originally ordered, isn't properly weight/load rated for the Camaro.

As a result, he recommended a 315 and guaranteed it'll work on my current wheel, so I changed the order.

Can anyone confirm that as the truth?

Here's the car:

I knew the tires needed to be replaced, but shame on me because I REALLY let these tires get bad. One finally blew out this afternoon, but thankfully it was less than 5 mph.

Shamefully, all four are like this. (And I SERIOUSLY need an alignment.)

How the hell did I not notice?

Couple of questions

Will the stock rear tires fit on a 20x10 rim?

Also, 275/30/20 nitto invos fit the rear stock rims? Sticky says 275/40 so not sure if 275/30 will work

I'm getting a 20x8.5 with 32 mm offset fronts and 20x10.5 30 mm offset rears what tire size should I go for and I want it to have a little stretch because my wheels would have a 3.5'' lip on the back and I think it would look really good.

Factory size will fit. Not recommended to have any stretch though but it's your car. You wanna total it when you have a blowout at 75 on the freeway, be my guest.
