My passenger door was outboard on the top rear edge, and inboard on the bottom front edge. A minor hinge adjustment to correct.

I can buy a 2013 Shelby from my former employer at MSRP, $57k. The dealers in this area don't typically sell over MSRP. This same dealer sold a ZL1 at MSRP.

Make sure you really inspect the car then, even after the trip. Make sure nothing else dissatisfies you before you give up the cash on the table.

Why would the air bag system need to be reprogramed after only 125 miles!?
I'd take the money before this car becomes a pit.

I will inspect the car thoroughly before I take it from the dealership. If it isn't right, it won't come home. I won't order any goodies until it's home.

There is a proactive recall to have the airbag system reprogrammed. I didn't have the issue that it addresses (light on), but it did have the recall so it is getting handled while it is there.

Take the check and look for a better overall situation IMO, if there is one thing I have learned over the years is there is always a better deal/situation out there you just have to be patient and willing to sometimes wait.

If youre still not happy with the paint work, insist it be taken to a professional high quality body shop or make a call to GM customer service. I had my drivers side door repainted after a vandalism incident by a very good body shop and it looks absolutely flawless. If the tech at the dealership isnt painting it to your standards there is nothing wrong with asking them to have it taken somewhere else so that you will get a finish that will satisfy you.
If you love it then keep it.

Well, I'm happy to report that I picked up the car today. The stripes were perfect, the refinish on the front fascia is perfect, and there isn't a single swirl mark to be found on the whole car. They also had to replace the front fascia decals and those also look perfect. The front fascia had some rock chips that were corrected with the rest of the repairs. A complete interior detail as well, and a huge sigh of relief.

While the car was in the shop I bought a Jeep for my daily driver, so it'll be easier to keep the paint in good order. Let's hope that I don't need to see the dealer again any time soon.

Now, what exhaust to get?
