The size of the injector is usually fairly irrelevant to the computer. It comes down to does it have the granularity to handle a large injector in the very low rpm cruise range. Full throttle is easy. Part throttle/street driving larger injectors is always the hard part. We have 160's on the Firebird and really have to pay attention to cylinder wash during extended low rpm/low power use. The workaround is to make sure you run the rpm up/hammer every so often while driving. (Must be under load. Blipping the throttle in neutral is usually not enough)
ok, well that makes sense, but as i attempt to make this still very streetable, i wont want to worry about the wash out. little bit more research needed i suppose.

120s from bosch huh. guess we will have to look into them.

if they work with the stock ECM i see no issue then, and that should get us where we want to be

Why don't you have Cody call and talk to Corey about it... Corey mentioned if we run out of injector on my car before we get where we want we'll just up-size them, and I have 93 lb/hr injectors on there right now...
for sure. once we get into tuning i think that will be a good idea.

Huffer, was vengeance talking about your car when they mentioned a 1060rwhp camaro and the bosch 120s? I saw it on ls1tech. They said those injectors were a pleasure to tune.

Might be....1060 is where we started on the first dyno session but we've tweaked it pretty hard since. We are just shy of 1200 as the car sits right now.

Hey Kyle, cool meeting you at Baker's today. Your ride's going to be a beast when it's done.

Next time you're down this way, hit up Jason or something...I've been trying to get him out to Woodward FOREVER, but he's always tied up doing some crap haha....

thanks.... its been a long ride..... still not done. but when it is... watch out.

I will give a full review of the new pump, its the Eliminator pump and speed controller. evidently the speed controller was broke though, so it has already been sent back for replacement.

I hope they get it back to LoveFab quickly... getting close to firing, actually I heard rumors it fired last night for a little bit

Car is moving under its own power.

hopefully the AFR gauge issue will be resolved in the morning and on the dyno by night.

Finally got her a bath though!

video of Dyno on my facebook... I do not have the footage because I am away on work or i would youtube it and post.

edited vids coming this weekend

car is making a consisitent 680 with major wheel spin. DRs are on it and it is strapped directly down to the dyno. They are tuning the best they can right now. According to Cody, on the road it feels ALL of what we are estimating. We just have not been able to get it in data yet.

they are finishing up the full exhaust today (downpipes out of turbos were heard last night 2+ miles from the shop), going to wrap up a couple other issues and hopefully tonight I will get to take her home for a sleep over at the big barn!

But then... back to the shop for more button ups.
