According to Tirerack.com, the 285's fit 9.5 to 11" wheels, tread width of 10.5 and section width 11.4". But yeah, you're right, does look stretched out.

I like the black hood. I still want more though. Look at the Boss, it has a distinct look to it compared to the GT. They should have just done a Z28 with unique body panels.

Add the F*cking hash marks >.> and remove the back seats.. add the front grille spoiler and a highwing spoiler and upgrade to a 8 piston brembos, and call it a 1LE..

Still want to know the price on this SS..

I was holding out hope there would be some minor facelift changes for the 2013 MY. Since this is somewhat the official 2013 1LE, I guess there won't be.

I was planning on getting 1LE, but just adding the suspension and wheels and put a high tag on it , is not going to cut for me, might as well go with a Regular SS and pedorize it.

I wish they would have lowered it a little bit. That's a lot of fender gap for a "track car".

Love the ZL1 wheel/tire combo though.

Needs those hash marks! :(

P.S.: Mark my words, I'll be sporting that rear diffuser and dual exhaust tips in the near future...

They have a higher numerical gear ratio also, if i'm not mistaken.

I agree with most Of the comments on here about it needing to stand out more from a regular ss. I think I'm sort of feeling the match hood and spoiler.

Am I the only one thinking procharger with this setup? I would make a 1LE emblem to replace the SS badge, just my opinion...

You know, now that you mention it, the Camaro could use a nice green (NOT SYNERGY.... PLEASE NOT SYNERGY). Whatever happened to this color? I think a new Camaro SS/RS would look pretty badass in this color combo.

I'm with you guys on the 1LE emblem. I realize its just an available package for the car, but for there to be such drastic changes to it that it deserves it's own designation, why no 1LE emblem??

And yes, a procharger system on this car would be completely badass.

Whats the source on these pics? Cause honestly im not buyin it. No offense to anyone here or the poster, but this is waayy different from the previous pics of the 1LE we got straight from GM. Theres no diffuser, no hash marks, no side skirts, the rear view mirrors are body colored instead of flat black, the tires are much smaller. To me this smells like a big ole scam-ola. Just my opinion on this, not saying its a set in stone fact, but in my opinion i think this is a clone. I think someone went out, bought an SS, heard of this 1LE package, did their hood and spoiler in flat black, put ZL1 rims and exhaust tips on it, re-used his old SS tires (why the tires are wrong), and posted some pics online that Camaro fans bought into. Theres just way too much missing from this car to make me believe its a real 1LE

Never mind all the performance upgrades. It doesn't have ZL1 side skirts or Grand Sport stripes so it sucks. What has happened to the Camaro world??

Ur right, it just looks like a modified stock SS one. Which I think in the long run will allow them to make more money off of parts, more people will be switching for that to get quad tips rather than the ZL1 diffuser.

Because the ZL1 diffuser requires more modification, and then sort of needs side skirts and a splitter to look complete

Some of the pics are from GM themselves, remember that the original ZL1 pictures didnt even have the ZL1 grille, and had a ZL1 on the shift knob. The original camaro concept had a bunch of diff stuff as well.
Things change from planning to production
