Gloss black or Flat Black???

So I had an idea to get another Berger panel and paint it flat black. But never thought it would look good until I saw it on a buddy of mines car. I just plastipped it for now, but will eventually have it professionally painted. What do you all think?

Gloss Black:

Flat Black:

If I keep the flat black, I will buy stainless inserts or put my other ones in. But I am going to keep it debadged

Well a buddy of mine is trying to get a deal at a body shop for satin so I'm going to have it painted since its a spare. If I don't like it I'll sell it. I was thinking maybe doing it a metallic gray and having my hood scoop painted the same color. Thought that would look badass.

On a black car, the flat looks like you bought a panel from the junkyard and are too cheap to paint it.

Flat with the badging put back on and stainless inserts. I had a friend in high school with that setup and it looked good. If you get an extra panel, you can just pull it off and put the stock one back on if you get tired of it.

This is an extra panel. I already have a set of SS badges so I would need a bowtie and the inserts. But I talked to a buddy of mine locally and he is gonna see how much it is professionally painted satin black.
