camaro '13 ordering & pricing clarification needed

I am new to ordering & pricing terminology . So bit confused and I hope someone would clarify my questions.

I'm planning to order a 13 camaro 2LT.

I was given an authorization number when applied for student discount. Is that sufficient to get the discount( ofcourse, I'll prove with documents.)

1. Whats the process involved in ordering?

2. Will my student discount hold good for '13 camaros?

3. When Should I negotiate the price with dealer if I want to order '13 camaro.? (Is it after I get the delivery or when I order it.?)

4. Assuming that I have discount, will I get the preferred pricing on Total MSRP of vehicle(including options) or will I get the preferred pricing on individual option?

As per the above thread, to calculate the price for which I would get the car, do I need to consider GM preferred price?( since I have discount.)

THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM TO NEGOTIATE

First build the car on one of the web sites. Know the invoice price before you talk to any dealer. Find out how much their willing to sell above or below invoice. Watch out for silly fees like advertizing. Make sure your deal is in writing before you leave a deposit. I promise your student discount is not the best price. Be patient , firm , reasonable. This is what i have learned from buying over 15 new cars in my life time. Remember , dealers will always try and get more for vehicles they feel are in demand. When your trying to buy one in this situation , how much is it worth to you. Never buy on impulse.

These are all concerns that your dealership should be able to address for you, especially when it comes to pricing. If you would like a starting base MSRP for the 2013 2LT Camaro here you go:

All prices provided represent the current Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price and do not include tax, title, license, dealer fees and optional or dealer installed equipment.

Camaro 2LT- $28,685.00
Destination Charge- $900.00

Convertible Camaro 2LT- $30,660.00
Destination Charge- $900.00

I hope this was helpful.
