Lakewood drag shocks?

Is anybody out there running these? I am interested because I don't really care about the handling I would get from coilovers, I just want the hole shot off the line. I've searched the forum and all I saw was someone over a year ago that had some kind of problem with them. I'll be getting trailing arms/subframe bushings/toe rods for wheel hop, I just need something for better weight transfer without lowering or coilovers

I was told by Lackwood that those shocks are too stiff for daily driving.

Lakewood drag shocks

If you buy the rear drag shock 50/50 you must buy o.e.m. 6 cyl. springs from GM. They are cheep.

The stock shocks will be fine for where you're at power wise. The stockers were good for me up until 9.81. That's where they started hurting the performance. I'd invest in some gd tires if you want it to hook.

The Lakewood drag shocks are 50/50, what are the O.E.M. rear shocks?

Def not 50/50 but they work well for 95% of the gen v's out there.
