hey guys, glad to finally own a camaro and i just have a few questions. im thinking of changing the rims, what rim fits well on a camaro and gives it that mean look. i drive an LS and i dont know what to do with the tires, theyre so bad! which tires shoulds i change it to? im thinking 22"s. any measurements would help alot!

is there a chip to take off the governor?

its a 2012 camaro 1LS

really quick question. from what i understand, the camaro has independent rear suspension. when i go over speed bumps it feels like the front of the car has the independent suspension and the back is like ONE metal rod and i just plummet back down on the ground. basically the back doesnt seem independent at all! is this normal?

i appreciate the help!

Id run some 22s (20s if you want performance) and Lower it on some BMR Springs.

altair, the choice of wheels is really a personal thing.....as far as the tires go, I would recommend General's AS-03's there are a LOT of us running them, they perform well, have good grip, have great wet road adhesion. As far as a "CHIP" there isn't one, gone are the days of inserting a chip to change the performance, for a really good answer or solution, you ned to go to the V6 performance section of the site.....on nd btw....

CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Take a look on Craigslist and in the for sale section here. I found a great deal on a full set of used stock Bright Silver Stock Rims, Tires and TPMS....Keep the Steelies for the winter or sell them to offset the price
