I think unreal is the best description. It's so unreal that it's hard to even imagine the amount of work in the SST, and even harder to imagine that kind of power in a "street" car.

Pure awesomeness!!!

Funny watching their chase car hammering it to keep up... One of the coolest things is that they couldn't run the boost up (which is good on the street) because of the tires on it so it really makes you feel good about how hard it can be pushed when we get the big M/T 345 Dr's on there and hit the Strip.

Boost Levels: 1st Drive ~ 5-1/2 lbs boost, 2nd Drive ~ 12 lbs boost, 3rd Drive back to ~ 6 lbs.

I hope you bring this beast to some of the Jax meets. I would love to see this mythical monster in person. Great job to everyone involved.

I keep coming to this thread to post CONGRATS and end up with my jaw wide open on the keyboard every time. Then someone drags me away before I can type.

The delivery video w/ wife and kids is a keeper. So glad you finally get to enjoy the beast. Then in typical NRE fashion the build video just blows any motorhead away. This is one EXCITING car...

Can't wait to see you driving it at the fest next month. Here's to the delivery.

Did Tom say something about Sammiches and Gatorade at 26:10? Congrats on the car Bruce. I can only imagine the in car experience and I am sure the wait was well worth it.

Thank You all of the great thoughts and support.

It was fun driving it to work as a normal street car for the first time in three years. (You don't realize just how long 3 years sometimes)

Drives just like grandma's car with a little surprise factor. I have found that people seem to like it but the majority (non-car types) don't notice it until it starts. Once it is running we have already had some interesting comments... e.g. unbeknownst to me (until after the fact) a couple of Ford Racing engineers came over to check it out. Surprisingly, they both said the Camaro (I believe they meant in general) is a kick-ass platform and that the Camaro crowd is really passionate about the 5th gens. They liked the SST so that was pretty cool.

Ha, it is funny you noticed the mention of the Gatorade and Sammiches while Nelson was filming. He used to always bust on us here talking about the Sammich mobile... Guess we are going to need some Sammich delivery footage.

It is funny video. Some of the non-aired stuff cracked us up too but may have gotten us in trouble if aired so we will just leave those alone !

Just a little smoke. After this, the goal is to NOT spin the tires, therefore it won't be quite as fun video...

Oh yeah. I remember those. The videos were cool AFTER they did some serious explaining of why they were hammering on a BRAND NEW THR2 without telling the owner first...
